Hojo's Petrie Dish - Sample 3

the 'Environmental Miser' Clothesline - a pseudo-TS3 Conversion
I've been seeing a very similar clothesline pop up in people's photos since Ambitions came out and since it works nicely with older neighborhoods, have been wanting it converted for TS2. The problem with this is that I don't have TS3-anything installed and still don't know if I'm ever going to. But why should that stop me? I opened Milkshape and made one:

The sheets are the only laundry recolor it comes with. By default, the ropes are bare, but still cast a laundry shadow:

The mesh has 1,000 polys even (how, I don't know) spread over 4 tiles. The actual footprint is only one tile, as it was cloned from the basegame Venus sculpture. The posts stick into the ground a few sim-inches by design, so it's not meant to be put on upper stories or porches. And by some sheer accident, it's visible in neighborhood view:

The UV map for the laundry has a slight downward bow to follow the curve of the lines; if inclined to recolor and add your own textures, use the white sheets as a guide for how it bends. Also bear in mind that the clothespins don't move except to disappear, but the base textures here should suit overlays of patterned sheets and blankets well.

EDIT: I forgot to compress the folder before I zipped it, and the difference was considerable, so I've swapped out the zip with the smaller one. You only need to redownload if you don't have access to the Compressorizer. No other changes were made.
Thanks to Yuxi and Psychosim for helping to sort out a shadow problem. You may do what you wish with this as long as it stays free and you don't claim you made it.
