This is a set of mostly decorative plant and outdoors-y meshes I put together for GardenOfShadows' April theme. But, the Sims Resource have decided to be assholes and try to shut GoS down by lying to GoS' site host service - since this stuff was only linked to from the theme topic, and the site is in fact down a the moment, I'll be adding the stuff here for accessibility.
All of these meshes, except for the Maxis tree, are Squeenix-made and extracted from the Crisis Core game, itself. All I did was make them work in a TS2 format.

The cactaur gnome is fully functional - sims can view it, kick it, steal it, get a fun boost, anything they'd be able to do with the basegame gnome. The decorative cactaur and Mandragoras (the dark one is a Squeenix recolor) are cloned from the basegame potted succulent. They don't need watering or trimming and can fit pretty well inside of smaller-scale decorative pots with moveObjects.
All polycounts are below 600 each.

Two of Aerith's flower carts, of course (the third, the "cute" model, has meshed-on ribbons that I really didn't want to fight with.) The inside of the wooden carts was remapped a bit for better texture, but there was nowhere on the mecha cart to expand the map without having to alter the texture image. So while the wood can be retextured to be sharper, the mecha will always be a little blurry inside. This is normal.
The empty carts are separate meshes, since if you want to add your own decor, flowers and plants tend to be higher poly and don't need to be piled on top of invisible polys, as well. The flower buckets can be altered like an alpha layer, though. They're also a subset on both carts, so you can mix and match flowers and cart finishes, if you recolor them.
Full, the carts have about 900 polys. Empty, they're both under 650. Both cloned from the basegame Venus bust.

Tired of substituting the Gray Lady of SimCity for Minerva? Well, substitute no more! Also cloned from the basegame Venus bust, the base pedestal and statue, itself are interchangeable once recolored. Do be advised that this is a one-tile sculpture with a hell of a lot of detail - Minvera has about 3,500 polys and may cause lag on older computers or if too much clutter is used around her. She originally had more, upwards of 7,000, as Squeenix had meshed her with the explody, crumbly bits inside, so she could fall apart in-game. She can't do that in TS2, so the broken bits inside were removed.
The yellow lilies are a recolors of the Mansion&Garden Dandy Daylilies, to match the color that grow in the church. Maxis did make a white, but their idea of "yellow" was yellow-edged with a gaudy red in the middle. Blecch. So, both colors are now available. No mesh required, but you'll need the M&G pack.

Originally, I was just going to make a recolor of the apples to turn them purple, but it turns out that I can't do that with the way the fruit trees are set up. So, I started fiddling with a bowing tree shape, figuring that if I can't make the apples and they're only on the tree for a short while, anyway, I'd make the tree look more appropriate. And now, TS2 has a Banora White sapling (since the full-grown trees are huge. I might try making decorative ones full-sized later.)
This tree will blossom, bear fruit and need tending, just like the original apple tree. However, it's for apples only - Maxis meshed all three fruits onto one tree mesh, relying on code to tell the game which should show up. Nice shortcut, but it leaves a tree with 20,000 polygons, and about 2/3rds of them invisible and dormant. Uh-uh. The extra fruit got culled for the Banora White, and about a third of the apples removed to better fit the reshaped canopy. A couple of the apple are kind of floating in space, but camera angles hide them well.
Naturally, the Seasons EP is required.
The new mesh has about 7,000 polys, but spread out over at least 6 tiles. The apples harvest and sell like normal, and will still be red by default. But, if you'd like to change that:

There's a way to overwrite the red texture with a purple one. CLICK HERE for a zipped folder containing the purple textures, instructions, and a full, clean backup of the Program File that will need to be edited. You will need SimPE and Seasons for this edit. Note: the folder is about 20MB, because the backup contains texture PNGs for an entire section of the Seasons EP. You do not need to keep this backup. When the edit's done and tested, feel free to delete the backup; if you wish to return to the red apples later, you can always come back and redownload it.
This edit has caused no problems for my game, but I am NOT a modder - please use discretion and edit at your own risk. The orange and lemon textures will remain unaffected. This edit is global, however, meaning all apples related to the fruit trees will be violet (at least, up close. they will still appear red from a far distance.)
Everything above is in one big zip, but it's all pretty clearly labeled.

Thanks to AlmightyHat for helping me sort out a transparency issue with the flower carts, and SchalaKitty for her immense help with the mesh conversion process.
You are free to use these meshes in any way that won't get you sued by Square Enix or Maxis. You may NOT, however, charge for them or claim that you made them.
