But, yeah. We'll start off where I let off, with the house of Olive "Don't Fear the Reaper" Specter, and neice Ophelia "Why Aren't You in Veronaville?" Nigmos.

I use the term "house" loosely. I nearly screwed myself over, on only the second lot of the informal 'series' by merrily deleting away while completely forgetting to take a before shot. So, you may notice that the dormers in the middle are already missing, a new lower-poly fence is up and the graveyard has been moved to the corner. Once again, none of the trees or cactus will be moved (but most of the rosebushes are history.)
I forget how much money Olive has in the bank when you enter, but by the time everything was stripped and demo-ed, I had just shy of $100,000 to work with. YAY.

First, however, I think the old bird cleaned up remarkably well! You can really get a sense of the difference with the next installment, as I got a pre-makeover shot of her with Nervous on his lot. I decided not to fight stereotype completely, and Olive is poised to become Strangetown's resident neutral witch.

Ophelia didn't escape Pescado's clothing tool, either. But wherever could she be?

Yes, come closer, young Grunt... muahahaha...

... and beware of the trained attack chickens!

Oh, you thought I was getting to the house. Fine, fine.
I'm still kind of inspired by jaccirocker's Marie Laveau sim on GoS, and went for something pseudo-bayou. It's entirely possible that the porch has as much square footage as a whole third floor. The house is surrounded by garden plots, save for ten total flower bushes, because it just seems fitting for an herbalist to grow it all together.

The foyer divides the house down the middle, pretty much, until you get to the kitchen in back.

Immediately to the left inside is a small study where Ophelia can

Past the study on the left is a living room that I just realized it TV-less. Hmm. Neither inhabitant seemed to mind, and certainly didn't roll any wants for one.
Kitchen is simple and old, but I likes it.
The dining room that takes up most of the right half of the ground floor isn't much newer.
There's a bathroom between it and the kitchen/spiral stairway, but it's 2x2, and aside of wall tile choices, bathrooms are pretty universal.
As mentioned above, there's a spiral staircase in the rear right corner of the ground floor; when you follow it up, this is the hall at the top.
First door on the right is Ophelia's bedroom, which still has the dollhouse, bear, and music toy, if slightly recolored.
Further down on the left is Olive's room, which doesn't have a whole lot more than pictured, but then, she doesn't do much more in here but sleep.
The end of the hall opens up into a sort of great room, which is also kind of sparse at the moment. I've never had a witch before, and don't know how much room the cauldron and book take up.
And of course, there's a door out to the upper balcony and another toy to make Knowledge sims happy.
That's all the photos I have of Olive's lot for now, but she'll be showing up again in this set of posts, heartfarting over the most improbable people...
