... offer it a bong hit. If it doesn't, paint it.

I steal this line from James Lileks' Interior Desecrations to bring your three more sets of peeling, cracking and otherwise grungy recolors in the Death by Crayon palette:

First, we shall start with the Take A Break 1-tile desk by Teko at ReflexSims:

All colors:

Slightly less crunchy detail of aqua:

The "nekkid" recolor is the original woodgrain, but with the new-lumber-like yellowness taken out of it. Apologies that the pencil cup is the same for all colors, but I couldn't tell/remember what that part of the texture recolored until I was testing these out in-game.

The mesh is included, simply for the fact that when I tried to look up the original to link to it, I found at least three different WCIF threads stating that the mesh has been removed from the ReflexSims site. Sure enough, I checked every page there and couldn't find this set any longer. I share my toys. The mesh included should be the one I edited with the Categorizer to actually satisfy the want for a desk, and show up in the desk catalog (no change made to the actual mesh.) If I'm mistaken, the only difference is the original will be found in with the dining tables.

Update [08/17/09]
For my own purposes, I edited the cup and notepad off of the desk. It just seemed a little silly to set a big, heavy computer on top of them. Anyhow, it brought a nice, low polycount even lower, to about 380. Deco-less, it looks like this:

It is not an addition; it will overwrite the original, and use all of the same recolors. Also, this one definitely has the catalog edits to show up as a desk, and not a table. If you'd like to have it, too, just click here.

Up next, we have the delightful Abandoned Hallway Stairscase by SimPlanX:

All colors:

Texture detail:

This exact look requires the "no carpet" recolor. I again wasn't sure what recolored what while I was in SimPE, but now that I do, I intend to go back and make some runner-carpet-only recolors later on.

Mesh and carpetless recolor are included. If you want the whole set, or just the three or four original colors, too, you can find them in the booty (sets 4 & 5.)

And finally for tonight, I foisted my crayon box upon Buggybooz's Kitchen Basic counters:

There's a silver file included, but it somehow only colored the cabinet and not the countertop when I tested it.

And of course, I just have to have a permagrunge option. These will actually get a little grungier when they're legitimately dirty, mostly on the countertop, but will always retain some smudges and scratches on the doors/drawers.

And now, for the bonus:

Almost everything in both the Kitchen Basic and Shakerlicious sets can be slapped with matching paint.

You will need Buggybooz's Kitchen Basic, Plain & Simple Dining and/or Shakerlicious sets to take advantage of all the options. Meshes are not included, as per Buggybooz's terms, but they are free.
DO NOTE: you MUST have the Kitchen Basic counter and Kitchen Basic barstool1 for any of these meshes & textures to show up properly in-game.
