No matter how diverse and, er, eccentric the denizens of Midgar can get, it's always good to remember how alike we can all be, too.

Like my neighbors, for instance. On duty? They're both all business with what they do. But off? Heh...

Yeah, complete and utter saps. Not like I have any room to talk, but that doesn't stop it from being funny. Genesis moved in the same day he and Angeal became an official item. At least they're on the other side of the alley and I don't have to actually hear them.

Well, you know what I mean. Gen's really not that bad, and music does keep him busy, when he's not walking around with a book in his hands. And that only means more ballet bar for me :D

Angeal's taken up a hobby, too, and it really doesn't surprise me at all.

Watching these two together is cute in its oh-so-wrong way, but I've gotta say it's been inspiring, too. I mean, who doesn't want their own snuggle bunny to goose and serenade all day? I've had my eye on a certain specimen for a while. I met him in that weird Nobody lab weeks ago, but like a dork, forgot to ask for his number. Ran into him again online in a chat room, and we've been playing it up over the phone ever since. I don't think I've ever made a faster friend, but I'm so ready to pounce and make it more, it's not even funny.

It got to where I couldn't wait anymore, and invited Cloud over. He brought butterflies. It was epic.

He was a little more shy in person that he is over the phone, but we'd met over ballet bars, after all - I asked him to dance, he said yes...

... and this deal was as good as done, boy.

I tell ya, in Midgar, dancing sure does seem to be the quickest way to get into someone's pan- ...el. Yes. Friends panel.

And that enthusiasm's contagious as hell.

Cloud agreed to move in and we pooled our funds to get a little starter place in Sector 6. It's more residential than all the businesses around 7th Heaven, and that's probably a good thing, since Cloud has an adopted son. Really, I don't know much about kids beyond liking them, but Denzel's cool, and I'd take in a whole orphanage as long as my featherhead came with it.

It's not much to look at yet - in spite of the pajama-clad people who come by and stare at it - but it's warm and waterproof, and that's all we need until we can expand it.

And it's got plenty of space and privacy for my favorite toy. Cloud isn't quite the type to shake his ass in Firaga's cages, but he does like to dance when I'm playing. He's even looking into making it into a career.

Oh, hell yes. Having the whole top floor just for us is gonna be so much fun.

Speaking of the Firaga crowd--

You would NOT believe who I found out dances there. When he's not popping out kids, I gather. That... that only makes it weirder.

I have it on good authority that his whole family is kind of nuts.
