Things to do: 1) go back and paint the Healin Lodge, 2) re-outfit the Shin-Ra library, since it came from the old laptop and I've reorganized my CC since then - there are bound to be "missing" objects, 3) change Reeve's beard and Lucretia's dress, 4) make a better suit recolor for Lazard, 5) retexture the SOLDIER uniforms, 6) BodyShop at least 15 more sims x_X,  7) build a new Sector 5 church and a Forgotten Capital park, 8) community lots galore...

Yeah, that's all well and good, but I'm a procrastinator. Or maybe just easily distracted. So I ended up just putting more sims into play:

If I don't want horrendous lag or flat-out crashes, I have a graphics choice between high detail, or smooth edges. I'll take the detail, thanks. I like my sims having real fingers and not Money for Nothing blocks.

The apprentices here have been stuffed together into a lot vaguely reminiscent of Master Ansem's office/labs for now. I didn't look up any references for it, so it's full of creative license, I'm sure. But, my, it's interesting there already:

Lexaeus is a deeply conflicted man.

But then, so are many of his neighbors:

It's the black hair. Cloud's a sucker for it.

Xigbar, meanwhile, appears to be enjoying the vast array of babes:

I gave him full outgoing, active, and playful points, and like, three nice points. I so hope this volatile combination proves hilarious in the future.

Vexen, however, is immune to babes:

Or maybe it's just a natural aversion to all things pink. I'm supposed to have a hack that stops the "ZOMG I MUST HUG EVERYBODEEEE!!1!" gene, but ALL of my sims choose to ignore it. Even Xaldin, who has pounced on - and been rejected by - everyone he lives with. I'd feel bad for him, but he's not the only one, and even sims should know you can't just go up and hug someone you just 'met'.

And yeah, I have to go back and paint this lot, too. *sigh* I did remember to go back to the SOLIDER apartments and set up everyone ACR tokens, though. For those of you playing along at home: you can still set everyone on the lot from one sim's adjuster, even in an aparment complex. That was a nice surprise. I wasn't looking foward to loading four households just to click one button for everyone.

While I was there, Seph decided he was no longer content living the motherloded life and wanted a job. Being the unoriginal sort I am, Military was available and I set him on the path to becoming a General. He got promoted on his first day, so I'd say he's doing well. He has reservations about his carpool driver, though:

While he was gone, I noticed my plan to remove the stoves and fridges from his fellow residents' apartments and force them to use the commisary was succeeding...

And I was again reminded of the mental image of Zack leaving his dishes behind like the ruins of decimated city:

When Seph got home, I gave him a change of casual clothes and had him chat with Vincent. And hell, I just like this shot:

Just you wait, Seph. Your elaborate book trap will have a blue-haired victim soon enough...

Books might've been the only building blocks he had as a kid... Some guilty pleasure he still has. But who's going to say anything about a grown man having books? He's crafty that way. I've never paid attention before, but I hope the game adds his title when he gets to the top of the career track. It would just be funny to send someone to the computer and see "chat with... General Sephiroth".

I always love looking at your pictures, even though I know next to nothing about Final Fantasy. :)

The Org looks awesome! And your simmies always have the best personalities (That in some way either compliment or destroy their achual images)
