With my unerring attention to detail, It's really amazing I haven't blown myself up before now.

So, yes - Presario F700 went kaput, and sold on eBay for $115 for the parts, so that's the end of that. The guy who builds his own towers had recently sold off all of his extra parts, as well, so that left my best option as buying the clone of my best friend's laptop. So, I did.

He's an MSI GX630, black with red trim, and I named him Reno. He still has Vista, but as I don't know whether ComicWorks, Sims 2 or Milkshape will run on Windows 7, that's probably for the best right now. He's done great, right out of the box, except that I couldn't get his wifi card to pick up a signal from my router. Turns out, though, that I just couldn't read my own writing and kept reading "b" in the password as "6". Once I realized I was doing it twice in the code? Works just fine. *relieved headdesk*

I think I only have ComicWorks and my Sims games to reinstall, then life will be mostly back to normal x_x

Speaking from my experiences with Deusericus (Toshiba A500) -

Milkshape is Windows 7 compatable, which is why I can look at Seph's eyeliner. (Seriously, that's untouched.) Sims 2 is as well - However, Body Shop is not, much to my dismay. I have been able to use Sim PE do mess around with some things, but only little things for myself (like a tail recolor).

I've never gotten it to work. Do you need to run it in a certain compatibility mode or some other little trick?

No, I didn't have to change a thing. Have you tried deleting your cache files?
