I don't always jump onto memes, but when I do...

Okay, this doesn't have much to do with the actual fan clubs at all, but the idea still wouldn't leave me be. And it's in the same cartoonish/chibi style, so it's a fan club comic, I say. I like having one panel that's more realistic or detailed than the others. I don't know why.

I love how Lazard strikes me as having a high-function breed of insanity. Seems like it would just pop up at the damnedest times.

You just like that one panel because they look like their this close to kissing.

If Lazard did have a mental disorder, it would most likely be Pseudologia fantastica - pathological lying. It is absolutely required to pull off his schemes, but I could imagine lying being so very natural to him that he just did it without thinking, building lies upon lies to form this web of obfuscation. It's one of the most interesting things and one of the most frustrating things about him in my opinion - it means that we never meet the real Lazard in game, so while you're allowed some room to play with the character, you'll never know if you've got him right or not.

Quite an interesting observation, and it makes me glad that Lazard's still new enough in my fic to give it some thought, before I end up wishing I could go back to change something. I've thought before that Lazard just didn't talk much at all about his past to Seph, and Seph probably didn't press him to for fear of ruining the source of what little affection he was getting. Pathological lying would be a valid reason behind that, one instance where Lazard unconsciously didn't want to lie, but the only way to do it was to say nothing at all.
