In order to explain the 'test release' part, I must unfortunately be a downer: my cat had to be put down due to very sudden and severe lung problems on April 10th, and my want to do much of anything creative since has gone out the window. He would've been eleven years old only five days after he died, and I'd had him since he was six weeks old. I still haven't gotten his ashes back from the crematorium yet, and the whole situation's really playing havoc on my already limited powers of concentration.
With that said, the templates I have finished (01 - 27 softened Maxis with Fantasyrogue Rhys ears + alien with FR's Wolf ears) is here to be downloaded AS-IS, because it's taken me ages to get them to this point and I'm honestly in no mood to methodically breed and age-up dozens of sims in a test environment. I do, however, have some shots of my pony neighborhood.
The skins and face paints used are available on previous entries.
L to R: Bluebelle, Bowtie and Bubbles skins. All of these faces are unaltered from their templates.
Game spawned bus driver. (Blossom skin)
Adult Male alien template / I think I slightly narrowed his eyes in CAS. (Tiffany skin)
CU alien template. Appropriate toy is appropriate.
These are the only shots I have of the templates in-game, although I've made AM and AF sims of every template, placed them, played them through their welcome wagons, and have not noticed anything amiss. But do note: I have not bred them. My biggest concern about this fact is the 02Base template - it contains the newborn template that all "human" sims use; it was Milkshape edited to have pointed ears to match all of the other ages, but again, it has NOT been personally tested in-game yet to ensure that it works perfectly. The child sim above was made in CAS.
I'm sorry that more testing hasn't been done, but I've been procrastinating on it as it was, and now, my motivation is here one minute and gone the next. I honestly don't know how much longer it would take me to make these templates available. So, they are available here for testing. Please don't add sims created with these templates to your main neighborhoods nor upload sims made with them for sharing until you're personally satisfied that they work properly.

This pack has been downloaded four times before this post, and no one's informed me of anything blowing up as yet. A few of these templates are based on Milkshape face template edits - 01, 03, and 04, I believe - by AlfredAskew (with permission). The rest are based on these templates of softened Maxis faces by Selzi on MTS. They all use the meshed larger elf ears made by Fantasyrogue for her Rhys and Wolf sims (again, with permission.) Thank you, ladies, for your generosity!
For best results, you will need this mod by Argon to ensure that the Csla and Cper templates display all ages correctly. This is a Maxis bug that affects even their own default faces.
I realize it's rather awkward when news like mine gets lumped in with a download, so condolences aren't necessary.
